Dedication: St. Anne

One of the twelve churches built through the 1711 Act of Parliament and named after Queen Anne, the church was designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor. It was gutted by fire on Good Friday 1850, was restored by Philip Hardwick between 1851 and 1854 and has more recently undergone further extensive restorations. The church was Grade I listed in 1950.
